Inventory Supply Specialist (MBSO000021)

Job Description

• Supervise and train maintenance management personnel on effective analysis of all functional areas required to ensure effective management of equipment, maintenance and material.
• Develop Test and implement an effective inventory control program to monitor usage of parts and material to maintain complete accountability from purchase requisition to usage.
• Supervise and train material management personnel to oversee all phases of procurement.  To include Direct Purchase for immediate use and inventory replenishment.
• Assist maintenance personnel to optimize and plan maintenance and material management controls to meet maintenance demand precisely, making right parts available when needed. Ensure that an adequate stock of tools, spare parts and material is maintained though out department and property for accessibility within A&A works and maintenance cycle.
• Assist in the development testing and implementation of an effective mobile asset management system to increase workforce productivity, accuracy and quality within the property.  With this implementation it will reduce non-productive activities, reduce paperwork data entry give the ability of monitor usage of parts and material to maintain accountability.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required. Liaise with Procurement & Supply Chain.

Job Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma holder in Maintenance Management systems or related discipline.
• Certificate or Diploma holder in Material Management systems or related discipline.
• Minimum three years experience in a similar capacity of hotel or building facility maintenance preferred.
• Minimum three years experience related to material management for hotel or facility maintenance preferred.
• Sound knowledge on operation and maintenance, inventory control at all levels renovation practices and related local ordinances.
• Have a good command of English.
• Possess good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Get along with fellow Team Members and work as a team.
• Be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
• Have a well groomed, professional appearance.
