Assistant Financial Controller I (MBSO000023)

Job Description

• Managing the day to day operation of the Finance Department (Non-Gaming).  Support other business segments and ensure smooth running of all financial aspects of the finance department and implement appropriate controls over incoming and outgoing transactions.
• Develop and execute detailed plans for the finance function to support hotel, F&B, MICE and other business segments, including accounting and revenue audit, cost control and associated reporting activities.
• Provide detailed analysis on financial performance with regard to hotel, F&B, MICE, Theatre, Retail Shops and other business segments.
• To liaise closely with other managers, internal and external.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
• Extensive hospitality finance experience (8 to 10 years experience dealing with extensive F&B Operations).
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong supervisory and analytical skills.
• Wide knowledge of different hospitality software systems and strong computer usage experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and develop a team and effectively work with other staff.
• Familiar with local reporting requirements and US GAAP reporting.
