Our Client is based in the USA and is involved heavily in the MRO of aircraft components. In line with their expansion plans, they are looking for a driven sales professional to participate in their growth.

Sales Director

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain full responsibility for all accounts within the region and meeting the sales budget. Pre sales & post sales account management accountability and prompt response to sales enquiry and sales pursuit
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy to meet Sales and business objectives in terms of revenue, margin and market-share.
  3. Manage the regional team of internal resources and consultants to execute the sales strategies and maximize the performance to meet the sales and sales related targets.
  4. Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as Marketing, Operations, Tech Services to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
  5. Apply consultative selling to develop solutions to identify maintenance and overhaul programs to meet customer’s operations and requirement.
  6. Work with the Customer Services Team to provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction for developing of long-term relationships with key customers and prospective customers.
  7. Work with Customer Program Management Team to maximize the performance of contractual programs for regional customers.
  8. Work with the marketing and business development team to developed the overriding sales strategies and packaging for responsible territories. 

Requirements:

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent, business degree in Sales & Marketing

  1. Minimum of eight (8) years in a sales and marketing function, preferably in aerospace MRO service industry. Has demonstrated successful sales track record, and experience in generating new business in Asia Pacific.
  2. Able to assess business opportunities as well as forge long-term business relationships with key decision-makers of existing and potential customers. 
  3. Proven leadership and management skills; ability to develop relationships with key external and internal clients.
  4. Highly motivated, goal oriented with superior sales and closing skills.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills.
  6. Must be able to have a flexible approach to working hours depending on the business requirements.
  7. Have strong business contacts with major airlines and a general understanding of the airline repair business.
