Our Client is based in the USA and is involved heavily in the MRO of aircraft components. In line with their expansion plans, they are looking for a driven sales professional to participate in their growth.
Sales Director
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain full responsibility for all accounts within the region and meeting the sales budget. Pre sales & post sales account management accountability and prompt response to sales enquiry and sales pursuit
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy to meet Sales and business objectives in terms of revenue, margin and market-share.
- Manage the regional team of internal resources and consultants to execute the sales strategies and maximize the performance to meet the sales and sales related targets.
- Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas such as Marketing, Operations, Tech Services to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Apply consultative selling to develop solutions to identify maintenance and overhaul programs to meet customer’s operations and requirement.
- Work with the Customer Services Team to provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction for developing of long-term relationships with key customers and prospective customers.
- Work with Customer Program Management Team to maximize the performance of contractual programs for regional customers.
- Work with the marketing and business development team to developed the overriding sales strategies and packaging for responsible territories.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent, business degree in Sales & Marketing
- Minimum of eight (8) years in a sales and marketing function, preferably in aerospace MRO service industry. Has demonstrated successful sales track record, and experience in generating new business in Asia Pacific.
- Able to assess business opportunities as well as forge long-term business relationships with key decision-makers of existing and potential customers.
- Proven leadership and management skills; ability to develop relationships with key external and internal clients.
- Highly motivated, goal oriented with superior sales and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills.
- Must be able to have a flexible approach to working hours depending on the business requirements.
- Have strong business contacts with major airlines and a general understanding of the airline repair business.
