Our Client, a top 10 Fortune 500 MNC specializing in the oil and gas industry is currently looking for:

Assistant Engineer (Vehicle) Off-shore -1 year contract

Responsibilities:

• ·         You are required to oversee the vehicle workshop operation by providing maintenance and repair services for in house vehicles which range from forklifts, cars to motorcycles and bicycles.
• ·         You will be required to assist the Manager with contract renewals by participating in planning, negotiation and developing strategy for vehicle maintenance and land transportation contracts.
• ·         You will be required to ensure that all safety and work regulations are adhered to.
• ·         You will be required to coordinate the smooth work flow from disposal of waste to vehicles movements on the island.

Requirements:

• ·         You must possess ITE/Diploma in Vehicle Mechanics or related Engineering discipline, have at least 3 years’ related hands-on experience and preferably in the oil refinery or petrochemical industry.
• ·         You must possess good technical background and adopt hands-on approach toward solving equipment related problems.
• ·         You must possess knowledge in managing workshops and being familiar and updated with LTA and Traffic Police regulations.
• ·         You should possess good time management and organizational skills and a team player.
• ·         Applicants must be Singaporeans or Singapore PRs and preferably able to commence work immediately.

Working location & hours:

The working location is on a southern island of Singapore. There are free company shuttle bus services (return) from Harbourfront MRT to ferry terminal. The ferry ride is about 15 minutes to the island.

Applicants who live along the North-East Line will find this location convenient.

Working hours is from 8.00am to 5.05pm. 5 days work week.

Remuneration:

Your remuneration will be based on your experience and relevant skill set.
