CONSTRUCTION MANAGER/SITE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management and timely execution of the projects assigned to you. You will coordinate and liaise closely with Architects, Consultants, Owners, Sub-contractors, Suppliers and the Authorities. Your job scope will also include the effective management of the safety requirements and contractual requirements on-site, as well as financial management (monthly claims and projection) of the Project.

• Day-to-day project management; includes liaison with all parties involved in the project (includes the Architects, Consultants, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers etc.)
  
• Attend all site meetings when required.
  
• Oversee all site works with the assistance of supervisors.
  
• Preparation of work schedules, and monitoring of project costing, work progress, procurement, and coordination with all partied involved to ensure work progress smoothly and completed within target time and budget.
  
• Carry out inspections for works in progress to ensure quality of works.
  
• Submission of monthly progress claims.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Building or equivalent
  
• Min 5 to 10 years of working experience in facade work of curtain wall and architectural products is a must.
  
• Excellent team spirit, and able to lead and motivate project team towards successful project completion on time, within budget, meeting safety and legal requirements and quality of works.
