Our Client, an MNC requires

Data Architect

Responsibilities:

1. •       Assist senior management in translating the corporate business strategy
2. •       Translate Enterprise Architect  principles into strategic data architecture principles for the enterprise.
3. •       Define a set of formal standards, policies, and processes that integrate data architecture considerations and impact assessment into the broader set of IT governance practices.
4. •       Define the architectural standards for data and data interfaces.
5. •       Define processes and criteria for granting exceptions to the data architecture standards.
6. •       Determine how to fit varied business needs into a cohesive architected solution.
7. •       Lead the development of the enterprise-wide conceptual and logical data models.
8. •       Assist business analysts, developers and the Data Administration team to ensure the agreed-upon data architectural goals are factored into each designated programme and project.
9. •       Act as a mentor and coach regarding data management and data quality topics.
10. •       Educate senior business representatives in best practices for data quality and to work with them to identify realistic goals and data initiatives.

Requirements:

1. •       Min. 8 years experience in enterprise IT, including senior roles in at least two full data architecture projects, preferably in the transportation or logistics fields.
2. •       Strong experience in data modeling, database design, and data management techniques and models
3. •       Strong experience in Data warehousing / data marts, Data mining, ETL, XML & UML.
4. •       Strong experience in SAP MDM & SAP Netweaver
5. •       Strong experience in SOA and BPM
6. •       Strong experience in SDLC
7. •       Experience in working with and leading external SI and consulting vendors in data architecture.
8. •       Strong verbal and written communication skills
9. •       Singaporeans or SPR only
