Deputy Director (Strategic Planning)(IT/Telco) (REF:GL)
Our client, a well known and established MNC in the IT/Telecommunications industry located at Central area, is inviting suitably qualified candidates to fill the above position
Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Vice President of the Business unit, you will play a key role in facilitating management team in the strategy making process; enabling the translation of strategies into actionable work plans; and bringing about strategic alignment amongst internal and external stakeholders.
Your other responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
-Facilitate the annual strategic/operating planning as well as analysis of the market drivers and identifying strategic trends and implications
-Support to the management team in preparation of materials or/and presentations for strategic workshops, regular business review meetings and communications sessions
-Analysis and development of recommendations on specific business issues as assigned
-Coordinate activities across large groups of functional stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and business events
-Drive implementation of Innovation initiatives
Job Requirement
-Minimum degree from a recognized university preferably in Business
-Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in Senior Management capacity
-Must have working experience in Telco or IT industry
-Possess a good track record of leading in projects to achieve stipulated objectives and goals
-Self starter who possesses strong planning and organizational skills
-Able to produce clear, factual and relevant information in written reports for executive and board reporting.
-Able to build and manage a high performing team with highly qualified and motivated staff.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with people of different levels
-Business and Technology-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Working hours/ Working location/Salary Benefits
-8.30am to 6pm (5-days week)
-Central area
-Up to $7000 + AWS + Variable Bonus (depends on experiences & qualifications)
