Project Sales Executive (Consumer Goods Industry)

Our Client is a reputable MNC specializing in home appliances. They are currently seeking a Project Sales Executive (based in Singapore) to grow the business overseas.

Responsibilities:

• To develop and increase the business in the healthcare industry in Singapore and North Indonesia (Batam, Bintan, Medan & surroundings) by driving projects on a direct base.
• Develop directly and indirectly the project sales activity ensuring full market coverage while ensuring profitable growth.
• Responsible for direct projects sales (i.e. hotels 4* and 5*, hospitals and clinics, commercial laundries…..)
• To develop contacts with large projects decision makers and consultants, hence closing sales via their partnership
• Develop directly and indirectly the project sales activities ensuring full market coverage while ensuring profitable growth
• Propose to customers the desired Laundry Systems solutions that are deemed suitable, thoughtful with comprehensive product offerings well adapted to each customer’s unique set of needs
• Develop contacts and establish good relationships with large projects decision makers ie. Consultants, architects, facility managers and corporate purchasing, to generate project sales pipeline and collaborate with the respective stake holders to expand market penetration

Pre-requisites:

• Diploma in Business / Marketing / Engineering
• At least 5 years of direct sales experience in B to B on international markets
• Understanding of commercial pressures and business drivers, and their impact on sales department
• Experience of working with international organizations
• Candidates from industry related to consumer goods / professional laundry will be advantageous

Skills And Competences

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Able to work within a cross-cultural team
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas to or engage in negotiation with customers.
• Able to contribute in a team environment, with independence demonstrated in areas of own responsibility
• Good administrative skills
• Fluency in English, knowledge of Asian regional languages will be advantageous

Attitude And Disposition:

• Positive approach with ability to influence, convince and motivate peers, customers, influencers etc.
• Ability to work independently & form effective working relationships
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Able to travel extensively to North Indonesia (i.e. Bintan, Batam, Medan etc), approx. 60% of the time
