Policy Analyst, Foreign Manpower Unit (Workplace Policy and Strategy Division)
Responsibilities:
You will formulate policies for better management of Singapore’s foreign workforce as well as ensuring a fair balance of rights and responsibilities between employers and foreign workers.You will also be responsible for raising the standards of the employment agency industry, ensuring acceptable standards of shelter and medical care for foreign workers and building up social support infrastructure for foreign workers.
You may also be required to make legislative changes to support policy outcomes, working closely with MOM’s line divisions, such as the Foreign Manpower Management Division and the Work Pass Division.
Requirements:
You should possess a degree in any discipline. Strongly analytic and forward-looking, you should possess strong people skills with good written and communication skills, equipped with creativity and drive.
