Civil Project Manager (Pipeline/roadworks/Construction)

• The Project Manager for construction projects is responsible for a multi disciplined team of 10-15 people and managing all aspects of construction including the design, planning, control and supervision required to deliver the project.
• Ensure that the work on site is controlled and co-ordinated in a manner that ensures the construction program is adhered to.
• He will be responsible
• - Design, installation and maintenance of all construction works internal and external
• including in line with Project budgets.
• - Production of detailed works program including costing, planning and co-ordination of the
• installations in order to meet completion dates agreed with Clients.
• - Obtaining approval in writing from clients prior to commencement of work.
• - Organising the procurement on long lead equipment.
• - Liaising with clients, building personnel and local authorities - co-ordination of all Projects to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
• - Responsible for the total co-ordination, control and management of all personnel,
• consultants and subcontractors working on site.
• - Overseeing cost estimates to ensure that all work is cost effective, check that the
• subcontractors produce a high standard of work, and that all work complies with the Safety
• Policy and all Health and Safety regulations.
• - Managing variations and change orders with clients and contractors
• Ensuring the quality of the subcontractors work meets all prevailing statutory requirements,
• building regulations and the client’s current specifications
• He will co-ordinate and monitor any remedial work required to gain acceptance from the client and the local authority
• - Supplying to the Client a comprehensive hand-over Package outlining the complete
• installation works including obtaining a signed completion certificate
• - Organising regular inspections to ensure that all site work is being carried out correctly and safely.
• - Ensuring that all Health and Safety regulations and procedures are complied with in full.
• - Managing the maintenance service support ensuring compliance with clients’ contracts and
• 5 years project management of multidiscipline team undertaking construction projects
• Civil Engineering Degree.
• Good standard of written and verbal English.
• Experience liaising with local authorities / regulations.
• Experience in pipeline projects and roadwork’s.
