English / Chinese Preschool Teachers (Fresh welcome)

Our client, the largest single provider of early childhood education in Singapore is currently seeking for suitable candidates for the position of English / Chinese Preschool Teachers.

Job Responsibilities:

We are inviting pre-school teachers to join in an exciting career with broad career opportunities in the field of working with children, both locally and overseas. You will primarily be responsible for taking care of the children in the respective classes / centre and the delivery of age-appropriate activities/lessons with the children.

• Carries out the curriculum activities within the parameters of teaching procedures and strategies.
• Do the lesson plan of all the curriculum activities.
• Holds regular meetings with all the other programme staff to discuss brainstorm, clarify agree on, resolve and inform on curriculum-related matters.
• Conducts parent-teacher conferences twice a year based on observation records and progress report of children.
• Fill up a week's daily activity plan one week in advance.
• Develops children's developmental profile.
• Participates in all organisation and centre's organised activities.
• Deals with class administration eg. Ensuring official memos to parents be disseminated, ensuring proper use of class attendance, arrange for children's weight, height to be taken, monitor staff work shift etc.  
• Plans project the types of resources, support and training needed and submit to Principal.
• Plans set up appropriate learning centres.
• Conducts in-centre sharing session.
• Plans annual graduation concert. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.  

Requirements:

• Diploma in Pre-school Education Teaching IS A MUST
• Good communication skills and service oriented
• Passion and interest to work with young children
• Patient and caring personality
