Who are we looking for?

IBM SSL is planning to grow rapidly, and as part of this expansion, we are on the lookout for smart and energetic Information Developers.

Information Developers will work with the software development team to describe and document the topics associated with the various features of the product. The Information Developers will work with geographically-distributed subject matter experts. Strong communication skills, leadership, and teaming skills are required.

We want Information Developers who-

• obtained a Bachelors/Masters degree (preferably in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related fields)
• have worked as an Information Developer or Technical Writer for at least 1 year
• are passionate about learning new technologies, languages, or concepts
• have superior communication skills
• possess the knowledge or experience with topic-based writing
• have used tools in creating and delivering user content, including HTML, XML, and DITA (preferred)
• are familiar with Information Development Workbench (IDWB) and maintaining information centers (preferred)
• have experience in software development or testing (preferred)

IBM Singapore Software Lab (SSL) is one of the newest IBM labs and is the first IBM software development lab in Singapore and is currently focused on developing products in the IBM Tivoli Security portfolio.
