Assistant Producer

Our client is currently seeking suitable candidates for the position of Assistant Producer,

As an Assistant Producer, you will be responsible for the management of our content and community for our global award-winning mobile social networking service. You will be tasked to develop a higher online profile for our properties and their constituent features with a view to audience development, brand building, usability and customer acquisition. You will act as a content strategist, selecting and programming content selections for consumption by our users.

This role requires you to interact with our members, develop member activities and provide excellent customer care to build customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will need to get hands-on with our community applications and work with inter-departmental teams to achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Selecting and programming a variety of fresh and entertaining user-generated content
• Use editorial & partner content to engage users and promote content discovery
• Engage and listen to our members, manage niche communities and communicate on new products and developments
• Oversee all aspects of user-generated content to make sure they are safe, legal and appropriate
• Work collaboratively with Product teams to develop features and applications for our user base, with their user experience in mind
• Support Marketing and Product teams to rollout product launches, updates, promotions and campaigns for operations
• Meticulously think through every aspect of the user experience, putting users’ needs and expectations first, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage members’ inquiries and channel member feedback to relevant teams for service improvements

Requirements:

• A diploma/degree, with relevant work experience preferably in communications, editorial, content management or related fields
• Understanding of the social media trends and how content is consumed and enjoyed online
• Exposure to interactive media
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused, team environment
• Creative, pro-active and a problem-solver with an attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills, initiative and follow-through
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent writing skills
• Fluency in English
