Senior Editor / Team Leader (Publishing)

Job Responsibilities:
• Manages a team of Editors and Assistants
• Provides leadership and management which include recruitment & selection, performance appraisal, setting goals for team members and employees’ retention.
• Works with Director to provide team goals and responsibilities
• Coaches and trains new recruits and monitor the performance of team members
• Documents and communicates performance feedback
• Attends Editorial Board Meeting (when necessary)
• Supplies information to Director on monthly KPI (key performance indicators) progress and status
•Joint responsibilities with Trainer to ensure team members have the right competency to handle their day to day works

Job Requirements:
• Min 3 years of supervisory experience in a contact centre/ call centre/ service industry
• Exceptional leadership skills is a must
• Ability to manage a diverse and face pace team
• Follow through and excellent organizing skills
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Is interested in the development of human resources
