BILINGUAL EDITOR (ENGLISH & CHINESE)
We are a dynamic publishing arm under POPULAR group, specializing in a wide range of commissioned bilingual publications of general interests, lifestyle magazines, various commercial publications and corporate publications for local and regional market.
We are seeking for highly motivated and qualified individuals to be part of our team. We provide development opportunities to successful candidates and empower them to grow with the Company.
Job Responsibilities :
You will be responsible for the conceptualising and editorial of diverse range of publications: in-house, corporate and commercial publications, in particular, various kinds of magazines both for general mass and special interest such as art-related subjects. You will need to possess the ability to inject flair and flavour into your work.
Job Requirements :
- Degree in English Literature/ Translation/ Communications or related disciplines.
- Good command of both English and Chinese is a must, with excellent proficiency in written English. Experience in translation will be a definite advantage.
- Minimum 3 - 6 years of editorial experience in publishing field, with wide network and resources.
- Possess excellent news sense as well as a sound knowledge of local and foreign lifestyle trends.
- Have an eye for detail and possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Able to build effective relationship with team members.
- Well organised and meticulous, with strong initiative.
- Able to multi-task, manage various projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Energetic, positive and creative in taking up new challenges.
