Education Specialist

Role description

The Education Specialist is responsible for the design, development, and provision of training programmes for SAS customers and partners. This involves:

• Being the principal SAS trainer responsible for conducting SAS Software education courses
• Support SAS Education Manager to develop and secure SAS Education revenue
• Conduct ongoing client needs analysis to assess the target audience requirements and define the most efficient and effective method to deliver the training
• Prepare training material, case studies, instructional demonstrations and hands-on training and coaching to SAS installed base and partners
• Maintain classroom technology and infrastructure
• Interface with SAS Global Education
• Support Customer Care initiatives and events

Requirements

• University degree in Statistics, Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Familiar with SAS software and applications, with 2 years of implementation experience preferred
• 2 years of SAS training experience preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
