Job Description

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking an Executive Director as Relationship Manager for Financial & Strategic Sponsors (FSS). The executive will spearhead client engagement with institutional sponsors, private equity funds, and sovereign entities. This position drives cross-selling of financing, transaction banking, and advisory services.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience covering financial sponsors, alternative asset managers, or sovereign wealth funds
  • In-depth knowledge of debt capital markets, leveraged finance, and transaction banking products
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship expansion, and revenue generation
  • Exceptional deal negotiation and leadership skills in wholesale banking

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen senior-level relationships with regional financial and strategic sponsors
  • Originate and structure financing, advisory, and markets opportunities tailored to client mandates
  • Collaborate with capital markets and credit risk teams to shepherd transactions through approvals
  • Ensure full regulatory adherence and uphold robust client due diligence practices
