Performs specialized source-of-wealth and anti-money laundering assessments for high-net-worth private banking clientele. Reviews onboarding and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with strict MAS regulatory guidelines. Partners closely with front-office bankers and compliance officers to mitigate financial crime risk.
Requirements
- Experience in AML/CFT, KYC, or source-of-wealth analysis in wealth management
- Working knowledge of MAS regulations and anti-financial crime frameworks
- Analytical mindset with strong investigative acumen
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
Responsibilities
- Review and corroborate source of wealth and source of funds documentation
- Assess risk levels associated with high-risk individuals and PEPs
- Liaise with relationship managers to resolve documentation gaps
- Provide detailed compliance summaries and recommendations
